Meet Emily, the visionary founder and lead artist behind one of Columbus, Ohio’s top bridal beauty teams. With over 15 years in the industry, Emily’s journey began as a solo artist, building her bridal business from the ground up. For eight years, she worked independently—learning, growing, and often figuring things out the long, hard, and expensive way. In 2016, she began building a team, driven by her passion to serve more brides and elevate the bridal beauty experience. What started as a one-woman operation has since grown into the premier bridal beauty team in Columbus, trusted by countless brides on the most important day of their lives.
But Emily’s impact didn’t stop there. In 2018, she founded Bridal Babes Society, a coaching and mentoring community for bridal beauty artists ready to elevate their businesses. Through education, mentorship, and proven strategies, Emily has helped countless artists step into their power, grow their teams, and create the kind of thriving bridal businesses they once only dreamed about.
Emily’s story is one of resilience and vision—proof that success doesn’t happen overnight. Her leadership, artistry, and dedication to both her clients and her industry have set a new standard in the bridal beauty space. Today, she continues to pour her heart into creating unforgettable experiences for brides while mentoring and empowering other artists to thrive.
Building a bridal business solo is hard AF.
After 17 years in the beauty industry, I’ve learned something no one really tells you when you’re chasing your dreams: building a bridal beauty business is hard—not because you’re not passionate enough, talented enough, or driven enough… but because you’re expected to be everything.
The artist. The marketer. The strategist. The content creator. The social media manager. The CEO.
I started as a solo bridal beauty artist and, over time, built The Lovely Artistry Collective, now one of the top bridal beauty teams in Columbus, Ohio. Business was thriving—but as I worked closely with brides, I realized something important. They didn’t just want great hair and makeup—they wanted an experience. Brides today expect more than polished curls and flawless skin; they crave a calm, elevated, luxury moment that sets the tone for their entire wedding day.
That realization changed everything for me. I began pouring into the client experience, expanding my services, and ultimately building a team that could deliver not just beautiful artistry, but a seamless, stress-free, unforgettable getting-ready experience for every bride we touched.
I’ve built two multi–six-figure businesses—and through it all, I’ve felt the late nights, the second-guessing, the burnout, and the constant pressure to stay visible online. But those challenges shaped me into the artist, leader, and mentor I am today. And they fuel my mission: to elevate the bridal beauty experience for brides everywhere while empowering artists to build thriving businesses of their own.
